Served by a lovely guy on counter, he had exceptional customer service and tried to assist all our needs, even handed food to our table when dining in and was very polite. Food was amazing like always. Definitely where I want to be for lunch!
Call into Henny Penny East Maitland 2 or 3 times a year when driving back from the North Coast, last visit i noticed how old and dated the store really looked, its like they have not spent a cent in updating the store over the years, this visit last week i noticed how on closer inspection the seating area was quite grimy, some of the bench seats had grease on them, looked like the place had not be cleaned from the previous days trade. However though, the service was very good, the chips were hot and crispy, and the fried chicken was fairly tasty with meat on the pieces , so food wise it was good, just the store is looking like a faded rose which needs some TLC, i just fear it will end up as the same fate as some of the other Henny Penny outlets which have closed over the years.
